My dad passed away this spring (yeah, it sucked) and I have been going through his photos and slides. I came across this one and I have no idea what either car is.
Anybody?

That’s what I was going to say. The other one is, I believe, some sort of Chrysler - Newport?

1960 Renault Caravelle - in front of a plane with the same name: Caravelle, quite obviously

There ya go! Without the distinctive front showing I could not pick it out. And the timing totally makes sense as this was in a batch of slides from 1960-1961 I just had digitized.

It was a rear engined car, therefore, those intakes just past the back edge of both doors. Think it was also known as Renault Floride.

I recognize the old style Connecticut license plate. Any clue of the town?
And my guess for the front car is a Chrysler New Yorker.
